How to get classical guitar sound from an electric guitar
Very easy!!!
Except that you need to have the appropriate stomp-boxes.
Except that you need to have the appropriate stomp-boxes.
Requirements:
> an electric guitar (Fender Stratocaster recommended, since mine is a strat)
> Stomp-boxes:
- an acoustic guitar simulator
- graphic equaliser (not important)
- preamp
>Masking tape (very important!!!)
Steps:
- Obtain an acoustic guitar sound from those stomp-boxes.
- Then get a piece of masking tape. Length slightly longer than the bridge of your guitar.
- Apply the masking tape piece on the bridge saddles and the strings as shown in the picture below.
- Fix the middle frequency of the acc. simulator for the quality of the sound.
- Ofcourse, if you have reverb and delay stompboxes, you will obtain a better quality sound.
- Here you are!!! You are ready to go.

In order to build up the sound, I have used a Boss GT-100.
